How We Got Started
I (Rocky) am a general contractor with 17 years of experience. I started in this industry as a Real Estate investor. I hired contractors to do most of the rehab work on our properties. As a result, I have encountered every problem with contractors you can imagine! I suppose that is why I became one. I got tired of dealing with the issues that typically come up when working with a contractor. I am not saying they are all bad (I mean, I am one after all!). Most contractors have your best interest at heart, but things go wrong in a job when a contractor is not sure what is expected of them. Communication between the contractor and the client is key! I wanted to find a contractor that would provide me reasonable prices, quality work, and a good work ethic. I had a hard time finding those qualities and realized I had the skills to perform the work I had been hiring contractors for. So I became a contractor and started my own remodeling company (Remodeling The Lake). I would love to help you with your handyman and remodeling needs!
